This hotel is amazing. I was expecting a ho-hum hotel, but my girlfriend and I were blown away. Such immaculate grounds, nice staff, great amenities, truly a great experience.

We love this property, away from the hub bub of the Golden Zone, but with free shuttle service to the other Pueblo. We do own here and the only negative we feel is the restaurant, but the property in general is top notch. We are taking friends this trip to enjoy with us.

This entire resort is very clean and well maintained, has a beautiful pool and private beach, and the staff and service were great. They do invite you to a "welcome tour" which is actually a time-share sales pitch, but it was very low-pressure and you get a buffet breakfast and a $200 hotel food credit for attending. The facility is about 15 minutes out of town (there's a free hourly shuttle), so it's not a good spot for someone looking for night-life action, but it's a great spot if you just want to relax in a beautiful setting and avoid the touristy shops and beach vendors.

We loved the hotel. The rooms were large, nice looking and clean. The pools were excellent. This is a great place for families. We utilized the spa and tennis facilities also. The best feature is the beach with its' lack of crowds, lack of motorized water traffic, and lack of beach vendors! It was easy to get to the Zona Dorado by shuttle for dinners.

We love this resort and it's staff. Everyone is very accomodating and friendly. However, we were very disappointed that cats were allowed to roam around the resort and were getting into drinks, food, etc. around the pools when guests were not paying attention 100% of the time. Some guests were also feeding the cats encouraging them to stay around. This may disuade us from returning to this facility on an annual basis as we have been doing for the last few years. Please get rid of the CATS!

Some days we didn't leave the resort because it was so wonderful. The pools are great and prices of food and drinks are not bad. The buffet is a little on the expensive side. Didn't do the time share thing cause it takes about 3 hours away from your vacation even though they say it is a short, no pressure breakfast. We booked a king room and got 2 doubles instead. All the Kings were taken. We could have gotten one later on in the week but didnt want to repack anything!! Service was fabulous all around!! It is far from the town and will cost you if you don't catch the shuttle.

The hotel overbooked and had no rooms available. They shipped us and a dozen other guests to another hotel for 1 night. We could not check in at EB until 3pm the following day. Error knocked off a day of our trip. The restauarant at EB is ran very poorly. The service is slow, chefs are even slower. We waited over one hour to get served dinner. Once the food came it was very blan and not at all what we were expecting. All in all for the high dollar type of resort it is managed very poorly. Will not be returning to this hotel again.

The hotel is only a short cab ride (maybe 7 min) from the city. Upon arrival to the resort, upon entering the beautiful iron gates, you immediately feel as if you are arriving at your own pristine palace in the tropics. Pristine! The hotel is very elegant but not uncomfortable. The service was top of the line. The treatment is that of a 5 star; including free drinks, excellent baggage service, and excellent information and support (very inviting). The city itself was also enjoyable, for the price this trip is an absolute steal!! Mazatlan is impressive!!

We were delighted with the facility on our first trip to Mazatlan. The common spaces were very well maintained and clean, as was our room. A few minor communication problems, but nothing that effort on both sides didn't work out. We LOVED every minute by the pool and walking on the beach. We strongly suggest NOT eating at the restaurant. It is worth the time to go to town. Pool side food service was good, in fact better than the restaurant. If they would provide better restaurant service and food choices, there wouldn't be any negative about this resort.
